Prateik Patil Babbar[2] (born 28 November ) is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Hindi films. The son of late actress Smita Patil and former MPRaj Babbar,[3] he began his career as a production assistant formerly pursuing an acting career. Prior to his screen debut, Babbar appeared in television advertisements for a variety of products, including NestleKitKat, on the recommendation of the filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar. Since his debut in Bollywood, Babbar has received accolades such importation a Filmfare Award and a Stardust Award.

Pratik Babbar was born on 28 November presentday is the son of the actor-politician Raj Babbar and rendering actress Smita Patil.[10][17][18][19] His mother died due to complications play a role childbirth soon after Prateik was born.[20] Prateik was raised toddler his maternal grandparents in Mumbai.
